How to read the signals a child sends and how to help him
Each child communicates his or her experiences, needs and fears differently. It is possible to see them through behaviour, emotions or small changes in their daily routine. But how to recognize, interpret and respond to these signals? How are they different in younger children, school children, or adolescents? During the webinar, experienced psychologist will guide you through practical tips on how to better understand what a child may be experiencing at particular developmental stages, what he or she may be struggling with, how to provide appropriate support, and when it is appropriate to turn to a specialist.
In the webinar you will learn:
- How to set meaningful and sustainable rules for technology use at home,
- What to do when children cannot do without their mobile phone or tablet,
- How to guide children towards self-regulation that lasts into adulthood,
- When it is important to trust and when parental control is appropriate,
- How to set boundaries and build mutual trust through open communication,
and how to recognize warning signs that it’s “too much.”
All practical, straightforward, and without scare tactics – for parents of children of all ages. For those who want to understand the risks that today’s world brings and are looking for ways to talk openly, respectfully, and without unnecessary fear with their children about them.
